Looking for a Wedding venue?  I’m very lucky in that I get to be celebrant at some great locations for  weddings, as well as baby namings, vow renewals and yes, funeral and memorial services too.  One of my favourite venues is glorious Compton Verney, in beautiful Warwickshire

Compton Verney is a beautiful Georgian stately home set in landscaped gardens designed by Capability Brown, and  with a lake, walkways and its own chapel in the grounds.  The House was restored just under a decade ago and is now an Art Gallery, run on a Charitable basis.

The wedding and events co-ordinator is Harriet Lund.   Check out their wedding brochure online and take the opportunity to visit Harriet and see the opportunities for yourself.

The team will only accept one wedding per day at Compton Verney, and you would have complete exclusivity from late afternoon.  Imagine your photographs, taken with exquisite works of art in the background!  And the choice of where to make your vows and exchange your wedding rings is endless…  from the magnificent tiled Adam Hall, flooded with light , or the more intimate Ladies’ Room with views out over the parkland.  Or how about outdoors?  By the lake, on the bridge, or perhaps in the chapel ?

As a celebrant, I can design and deliver a wedding ceremony to your exact requirements.  Whether this is for a very traditional wedding ceremony in the chapel, or a Downton Abbey themed event – I can provide it for you.    Why settle for what everyone else has?  You can have your own personalised ceremony with as much or as little religious content as you wish.  It is YOUR day, after all!    And with the cost of the Registrar ceremony at the venue (and all their restrictions) coming in at up to £490 (at 2013 prices), you can save as much as £200 by having a Cherish Ceremony!
